ev98 runs a custom content management system called Ethanol. It is the third major version of the Web application since its creation.
This system supports multiple users, a graphic weblog editor, and fine-grained privacy controls for personal information. In its current stage, ev98.net acts as a community website, where each registered user can add material to the front page, as well as comment on existing content.
You can view a functional demo of Ethanol as well.
