About Snowdrift
- Snowdrift was a proof of concept Java application developed for my senior year Computer and Information Science class.
- The application was an encrypted, multi-sourced peer to peer file transfer application, similar to BitTorrent. It was comparable to the encryption functionality present in uTorrent before the client existed.
- Snowdrift boasted an integrated HTTP server and a simple SWT file management interface.
- Due to restrictions surrounding the distribution of peer to peer software, and possible cryptography redistribution controls, both source and binary versions of Snowdrift are not available to the public.
